After realizing that this problem can only be solved by technical vocational training, ITI was established in 1992 under Girls Heyham (Yateemkhana). Decided to start. For that Minister P.K. Kunhalikutty also laid the foundation stone for the establishment. In 1996, when the organization started its operations, the chairman was S.A. Geoffrey and the secretary was S.M.Basheerudhin.

In 1998, the Technical Institute became ITI with NCVT accreditation. The aim of the institution is to uplift the lower middle class of the society by getting employment and to secure the future of the inmates of Girls Home (Yateemkhana).
